Preparing a bridal look is not one visit “in the last week”, but a small plan over several months if you want to arrive at the date looking your best without rushing.
2–3 months before the wedding: if you plan to change hair color or do complex coloring — this is the time to start, especially if it will take several stages. Dramatic changes right up against the date are a big risk for nerves and for hair.
4–6 weeks: settle on the hairstyle and book a trial look — together with makeup if you plan to do both with one artist. This is the moment when you already have the dress, the veil and a sense of the overall style.
2–3 weeks: a final color correction (light toning or a root refresh if needed) and, if needed, a trim — so the hair looks fresh, without the risk of a sharp change right before the event.
A few days before: no experiments — no new hair or skin products, no last-minute change of artist. Everything important should already be agreed at the trial.
On the wedding day: allow more time for hair and makeup than it seems you need — a full bridal look usually takes 2–3 hours, and it is better to have a buffer than to rush.
